These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, products, and services operated by Northvane LLC (“Northvane,” “we,” “us”), including BuildEngine at buildengine.tech and any sibling brands (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Service description
BuildEngine offers digital information products including (without limitation) downloadable PDFs, AI-generated reports synthesized from public data sources, and (in future phases) subscription dashboards and tooling. All outputs are informational. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, legal, tax, medical, or other professional advice.
2. Account use and acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract Service content; (b) resell or redistribute purchased reports without our written consent; (c) use the Service to violate any law or third-party right; or (d) interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the Service.
3. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Subscription plans (when launched) bill on a recurring basis at the cadence selected at signup. You may cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not pro-rate unused time except as required by law or as described in our refund policy.

See the dedicated refund policy. In short: 7-day full refund on one-time products; 7-day prorated refund on subscriptions.
5. Intellectual property
All Service content (including Build Wright copy, brand marks, dashboards, and Northvane-generated artifacts) is owned by Northvane LLC. Your purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the deliverable for your own business purposes. AI-generated reports we deliver to you may incorporate factual content from public sources; those facts are not proprietary to us.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that any AI-generated output is complete, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose. Outputs related to finance, investing, taxes, or legal matters are informational only. You are responsible for verifying any decision before acting on it.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Northvane LLC’s aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Northvane in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100. Northvane is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
